Customer Reviews
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Product
The silicone skin fits like a clove, but still allows easy access to the control wheel and does not hinder the screen at all. The Arm band is great to throw on and go to the gym.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Functional and simple to use
Great little product. It's light weight, snugs the IPOD well, doesnt come loose when worn and is comfortable to wear. I had trouble with getting the clear protector for the screen off and placed on my IPOD, so I tossed it.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great product
I am a particularly large guy (6'4" 260lb) and this arm band works great. It's comfortable and fits better than the Nike armband and doesn't cloud up at all with sweat. It fits around my arm nicely and stays firm. I would recommend it for its great price and comfortably.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Company
Grantwood Technology rocks! When I received my armband, I accidentally threw away the laminate protector with the packaging materials (Hint: don't do this). I wore the armband without protection for a week or so before I got rained on, and was afraid to do it anymore. I initially came to Amazon to write a poor review, and then I discovered my error.

Thinking I would have to buy a whole new armband, I wrote Grantwood explaining the situation, and one of their reps - Christina, got back to me in just a couple of hours. She said she would ship new laminate covers the next day, and that they wouldn't charge me a dime!

I was so taken back! Grantwood has great customer service, speedy delivery, and the Tuneband is a great little product. Do not be afraid to deal with these guys. The product is fantastic, and you won't find a better company online.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Super duper!
This band fits perfectly on my arm; it's not hot and it doesn't slide after I get a little sweaty. I'm so happy I chose Tuneband. Thanks!

We've seen some cool POV display setups in the past, like this bicycle spoke Obama propaganda message, but I don't recall one that could both amaze a person and take their limbs off at the same time. Called the "Display from Hell," that's pretty much what this thing does, all while projecting POV images using 100 blue SMD LEDs. The propeller, which spins at 140mph and is both huge and terrifying, was apparently rigged up for a party. A very dangerous party. From hell. Thanks, Joao! [Hackaday]

Prosecutors on Friday reached a plea agreement with former Connecticut school teacher Julie Amero, who at one time faced up to 40 years in prison after being convicted of endangering minors.

I've heard it said by Dave Winer and many many others: if only Dean had reinvested half the money raised into the Internet, then ...

OK, so you're the Dean Campaign Chief Information Officer in August 2003. The money starts to roll in. $20 million over six months, $2-4 million per month.

What would you spend the money on?

  1. What does your monthly budget look like?
  2. What is your application and infrastructure portfolio?
  3. How much will you allocate to maintenance?
  4. You're building from scratch, so what problems do you hope to avoid through wise architecture?
  5. What are your big milestones?
  6. Who are your key vendors?

How do you spend in consonance with the campaign strategy?

  1. How will you use the Internet to bring offline voters into the campaign at the same numbers as radio or television broadcasts?
  2. What is your online strategy for responding to attack ads and opposition pundits in radio, television and print?
  3. Online community takes time to build and is very hard to organize geographically. What will you do to match the state-by-state primary schedule?
  4. What can you do with online services to serve the campaign in caucus states?
  5. You are preparing for Bush to launch in Spring 2004. What are your countermeasures to reach out to moderate Republicans online while the GOP uses its advanced voter email systems to barrage 200 million validated email addresses?
  6. How will you lower the cost-per-vote vs. the GOP?

Hall & Oates are suing their publisher, Warner/Chappell Music Inc., claiming the publisher failed to enforce the copyright on their song "Maneater" and sue an unnamed singer-songwriter (quite possibly Nelly Furtado) for infringement. The only problem is, Timbaland and Nate "Danja" Hills - the composers of the Furtado track - also work for Warner/Chappel Music. What happens when publishers don't protect songwriters from other songwriters working for the same publisher.
