Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - LOVE reef sandals! Highly recommend them to all feet!
LOVE reef sandals! Highly recommend them to all feet!

They never rub or create blisters - even on the first wear.
Fast shipping!
Great range of sizes and styles.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great flip-flops
These are the best flip-flops I've ever owned. They're cute and comfortable. I've worn them around Disney World and have walked all day without my feet getting sore or irritated. They have decent arch support and have worn well (I've had them 2 years and will get new ones this summer because the heel is wearing down.) I think they run true-to-size. I will never again bother with cheap flip-flops!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Finally, a comfortable flip-flop!
I couldn't wait to try these flip-flops on and now that I have, I am SO GLAD I bought them! They are the most comfortable pair of flip-flops I've ever had!! The part between the toes that normally irritates me with other flip-flops I've worn is actually comfortable! I can't believe it! :) The sizes do run a little small, but I ordered a 9 and I'm an 8 1/2 and they're a perfect fit! :) Awesome, awesome shoes!! :)

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Soooo Comfy!
I love my Reef sandals. I bought a pair of white and pink and blue ones and liked them so much I got a second pair in black. I am considering getting another pair. I love them.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Extremely comfortable and last forever!
I bought a pair of these a couple of years ago, and they are still in great shape and look brand new! They may not be the most-concious sandal, but I love wearing them for sports after I get off the field or as comfortable weekend shoes. They are incredibly comfortable and the foam kind of forms to your feet. I was going to get a new pair- but realized I didn't even need to because my first ones are still great! Highly recommended!

Ted Shelton: "Frankly I felt that BlogOn was a waste of time and money."

I think the BlogOn conference was overproduced. In the name of professionalism the organizing firm turned off potential speakers, oversubscribed sponsors, etc.

I would have liked a debatable topic (aside from *blogging = journalism*. Two people slugging it out. Or a devil's advocate taking challenges from the floor.

I would have liked more hard numbers. Facts. Charts. Diagrams. We have the analytic tools to BS-check them; harder on vague opinions and single-points-of-observation.

I found it disturbing how much money was being commanded (from both attendees and sponsors) for a conference at a university. Maybe it was because it was at Berkeley? Maybe we should have taken over a community college or a Cal State or a DeVry. The facilities costs would have been cheaper at least. I heard an organizer apologize and say the next one would be at a hotel, like that would have been better.

Cost wasn't the whole problem. We're at a stage where early adopters are meeting folks who want to leap the chasm. Huge gaps in knowledge, experience, context, culture, vocabulary. It's the gap.

There are huge ideas to be explored, even in the world of applying blogs to media strategy and the enterprise. And most of the big ideas weren't even on the agenda at BlogOn. Probably because it was catering to those who want to commercialize, fund, and otherwise exploit (excuse me, "get in on") the emerging medium.

Let's fork these conferences so advanced topics on business and technology and culture fit the participants.

Blindspots is a continually-updated collection of movie reviews based around one very interesting concept -- how accessible they are to the visually impaired.
Movies that score high in accessibility include "The American President" (10/10) and "Ghosts of Mississippi" (9/10). At the other end of the scale are "101 Dalmatians", "Buddy", and "Spawn", each receiving 2/10.

Java Entrepreneur

Sun Microsystems has announced plans to cut between 5,000 and 6,000 jobs — that's between 15 and 18 percent of its workforce.

"It blamed the cuts on the global economic downturn, but I think that like many other companies, Sun is using the downturn as an excuse for what were pre-existing problems, foretold by its stock price, which seems to be in an unending swoon," suggests GigaOM's Om Malik.

"How much has Sun spent to develop Solaris or Java?" asks InfoWorld's Neil McAllister. "How much must it continue to invest in maintaining other products, which, despite being open source, have no appreciable development community? To say these products are not loss leaders suggests something akin to Hollywood accounting."

The answer? "Spin off Java," McAllister added in a later post. "Just get rid of it — farm it out to an industry consortium and let the companies that depend upon it manage it..."
