Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Excellent product, fast, fun, worth the money
This product is excellent. I clocked the bike going around 16 MPH with my son (80 lbs) in it. All the neighbor kids now line up to use it pretty much every afternoon when we go out, a total of 8 kids ride it every time. The battery lasts for at least 1 to 2 hours, and the most we have been able to run it is about 5 miles total. Bike is worth the money and I am satisfied with what I got. I would like a bit more torque as the bike slows down in the grass, but still goes fast enough. There are no hills where I leave, so I can not comment how much it slows down climbing hills.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Long term driving test results
My friends bought this mini bike over a year ago and now it is mine. We have ridden it hard. I have put on a new rear tire since we totally wore out the original. New break lever and front break disc, and a new set of batteries and controller. Over time wires will come loose and some of the plastic parts may break, but most of it is easy to fix and all the parts are available online. Mind you--it is a toy. If you are "off road" rough with it you will break it.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A MUST HAVE FOR EVERY KID!!!!!!
iT ARRIVED IN RECORD TIME. Took just 5 minutes to put together and he was off and riding. A perfect gift for our 8 year old. Went just fast enough for both he and I. The charge lasts a long time and he is madly in love with it. We bought the 350 for his last birthday and were thrilled with that one, this one is much much better. a score all around.....

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - THE TOY OF MY SUMMER
I am a 10 year old boy who just got a 500 BMX. It fantastic! All of the parts were there, and it was half built for you. Its amazing! When you twist the gas throttle it goes flying across the ground. It has a kick stand and has wonderful colors. It can also go over any terrain! It is even equiped with a number plate. It is really alot of fun!!!!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Bike
We've had this bike for three years now. I bought it for my son to ride around the grassy hills in our yard. It has enough power to take my 10 year old son off road and up hill. The battery has not caused us any headaches (unlike with the Schwinn electric scooter or the Chinese-made mini ATV). I can see my son using this bike for many years to come.

Sun Microsystems has announced plans to cut between 5,000 and 6,000 jobs — that's between 15 and 18 percent of its workforce.

"It blamed the cuts on the global economic downturn, but I think that like many other companies, Sun is using the downturn as an excuse for what were pre-existing problems, foretold by its stock price, which seems to be in an unending swoon," suggests GigaOM's Om Malik.

"How much has Sun spent to develop Solaris or Java?" asks InfoWorld's Neil McAllister. "How much must it continue to invest in maintaining other products, which, despite being open source, have no appreciable development community? To say these products are not loss leaders suggests something akin to Hollywood accounting."

The answer? "Spin off Java," McAllister added in a later post. "Just get rid of it — farm it out to an industry consortium and let the companies that depend upon it manage it..."
