Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Premium Apple iPhone 3G Silicone Skin case
the product was ok but not as sturdy as i though it might have looked on-line. It is thin; does not hug the phone. I returned the product but i have not received any credit back yet.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Not A Good Fit
This silicone skin cover for the iPhone 3G is technically functional and will perform it's intended use. However, if you are like me and you are looking for an iPhone cover that has a snug fit that doesn't add a lot of extra bulk to your sleek iPhone, then this one is probably not for you.

My biggest complaint with this cover is that it does not fit the phone in a snug manner at all. It is very loose and it adds a lot of additional mass to the edges of the iPhone. The new iPhone 3G features sleek, thin edges which this cover completely negates by providing what seems like even extra bulk, especially at the edges. Operating the volume buttons and the sleep/on/off button on top are very cumbersome given all the additional silicone material hampering a smooth operation of the buttons. In the end, I removed this from my phone as it was driving me crazy. I ended up with the new Incase rubber skin cover specifically made for the 3G and I love it. It is true to the form factor of the new 3G geometry and fits like a glove. I cannot recommend this silicone cover as there are much better options out there.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Pretty Good
Case is nice, feels good. Cutouts are perfect. My only complaint is that it stretches quite easily so its not such a tight fit anymore, but still holds fine.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Decent but not great

This case is okay but nothing great. The price is great compared to what you can buy at the Apple store. After a while, the silicone starts to stretch which is a little annoying. The silicone does feel that it protects the IPhone, and it feels comfortable to the touch. If you constantly put your iphone in your pocket though, i would recommended a different type of material for your IPhone case. The silicone doesn't slide in your pocket easily and it picks up a lot of lint over time.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Nice case
This is a good case for the price. Nothing sexy, but very functional. It doesn't come with any screen protection. I coverd the screen with a stick on film so now my little baby is protected.

Java Entrepreneur

Sun Microsystems has announced plans to cut between 5,000 and 6,000 jobs — that's between 15 and 18 percent of its workforce.

"It blamed the cuts on the global economic downturn, but I think that like many other companies, Sun is using the downturn as an excuse for what were pre-existing problems, foretold by its stock price, which seems to be in an unending swoon," suggests GigaOM's Om Malik.

"How much has Sun spent to develop Solaris or Java?" asks InfoWorld's Neil McAllister. "How much must it continue to invest in maintaining other products, which, despite being open source, have no appreciable development community? To say these products are not loss leaders suggests something akin to Hollywood accounting."

The answer? "Spin off Java," McAllister added in a later post. "Just get rid of it — farm it out to an industry consortium and let the companies that depend upon it manage it..."
